The design work for Burners Without Borders in the Smithsonian Institution 2018, No Spectators: The Art of Burning Man exhibition, is now part of their permanent collection and was also on view at the Nevada Museum of Art, the Oakland Museum of Art, and Cincinnati Art Museum. 

Michael designed the 2020 Burners Without Borders Spring Summit and co-presented The Design Science Decade: Design for Impact panel with the Buckminster Fuller Institute.

For Burning Man’s 2010 Global Leadership Conference in San Francisco, Michael was a Arts and Community panel participant.
